Back Country Mules (& Horses)

Enjoy your stay at the Hauer Moab area guest house.

Guest House has one queen bed, one twin bed, full bathroom, fridge, microwave and coffee maker.

How to get there: Take Highway 128 (the River Road) out of Moab to Mile Marker 21. This is the same intersection for Fisher Towers, but turn west toward the river, not east to Fisher Towers. Once on this dirt road, drive for 1/2 mile until the road divides. Bear right, through an open green gate. You are now on the Hauer Ranch and you will see several buildings. When the road divides next, take another right, and then a left. You will see the Guest House pictured above. Go on in! Should you have any questions during your stay, contact owners John or Sena Hauer at the house nearest the horse and mule barns.

There is no telephone land line except for emergencies, however you may be able to get cell service. It takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes to drive to Moab from the ranch. Questions? Call 435-259-8015. Or email us
